What is a Hot Toddy? A Hot Toddy, known as the “Hot Whiskey” in Ireland & the UK, is a hot mixed beverage typically made of liquor (usually whiskey), tea and infused herbs and spices.

Traditionally, toddies are enjoyed in the evening or before bedtime especially during cold and wet weather to help relieve a cold or flu ailment.

With the rainy season upon us in Singapore, we created a simple Pandan Chiffon Hot Toddy recipe for you to enjoy over tea time or a bedtime night cap.

 

Hot Toddy with Pandan Chiffon Tea (Serves 1)

In a tea cup (250ml) add
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 10ml of whiskey
- top up with Hot brewed Pandan chiffon tea

Garnish with a slice of lemon, a small piece of Pandan leave and a sprig of cinnamon.

Stir well with the cinnamon and ready to serve!
