Dan Cong Phoenix 单蜂凤凰 Oolong teas are famously noted for their natural ability to take on the aromas of various flowers and fruits, such as orange blossom, orchid, grapefruit, almond. Often, these priced teas are named after the particular harvest it is reminiscent of: 'Honey Fragrance', 'Almond Fragrance', and highly sought after by tea connoisseurs.

The Mi Lan Xiang (蜜兰香 or Honey Orchid Fragrance) Phoenix Dancong belongs to the honey aroma category. It is made of the tea leaves picked from the Shui Xian 水仙 tea trees in the Wudong mountains of Guang Dong. It has the honey and floral aroma, delicate taste, sweet aftertaste.

Dan Cong Mi Lan Xiang Oolong is a complex Phoenix Mountain oolong from Guangdong that is known for a honey orchid aroma and taste. The dark leaves produce a sweet, fruity liquor with notes of wild honey, exotic flowers and a lasting lightly roasted, mineral aftertaste.
